Frequently asked questions.
Where can I get a Strokesaver for my home course?
Directly at your club's clubhouse, or online at strokesaver.ch. All 27 Swiss Strokesaver clubs keep stock — just ask when you check in.
How current are the guides?
Each guide is updated and revised every year — when a course is reworked, the update happens immediately in both print and e-book.
Do I need an internet connection for the e-book?
To open it, yes — Strokesaver e-books are browsed online. On the course we recommend the printed book: no battery, no signal needed, robust for 18 holes.
What's the difference from a GPS device?
Strokesaver gives you precise distances to R&A standards, with playing tips for the ideal line in selected guides — not just "how far" but also "where to". And: no battery to run flat.
My course isn't listed — how does it get added?
Speak to your club manager. The survey can be commissioned by the club itself; more on the For Courses page.
